| Job Title: | Load Planning Specialist |
| Job Duties: | *Takes full responsibility for all traffic activities; *Computes amounts of fuel needed according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, weather conditions and fuel regulations prescribed by the airline and FAA; *Prepares flight plan containing information such as maximum allowable gross take-off weight and landing weights, weather and landing field conditions; *Ensures that aircraft load is distributed and secured in accordance with aircraft weight and balance requirements, ensuring that the aircraft's operational or structural limitations are not exceeded; *Disseminates information from/to the crew for the acceptance of load, build-up and load planning, weight and balance loading; *Briefs the crew with the flight plan, NotAms (Notice to Airmen) and weather; *Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the job or for skill development |

| Qualification Requirements: | *Associate's degree; *Minimum 2 years’ experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and offloading aircraft, operating equipment and ensuring security of cargo in flight; *Proven understanding of airport operations functions, including utilization of reservation systems; *Previous airline and airport operations experience preferred; *Strong mathematical skills-ability to formulate and evaluate correct load balance; *Strong communication skills-ability to effectively and concisely communicate with station personnel; *Strong decision making skills-ability to plan, implement and manage situation; *Multitasking-ability to handle multiple high-stress tasks simultaneously; *Ability to work for a 24/7 airline operations; days, nights, weekends and holidays; *Ability to work in a high-stress fast paced environment; *General knowledge of reservation system; *General knowledge of Microsoft Office;* Must have a reliable means of transportation; *Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification; * Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position |
