| Job Duties: | *Foreign Language speaking interpreters must effectively convert the verbal communication of one of these languages (Chinese/Korean) into the verbal form of the other. However, English-Chinese/English-Korean interpreters do more than just convert individual words from one language into another. They must be knowledgeable in specific subject areas and convey ideas or attitudes that may be lost in translation due to cultural differences. *Answers inquiries regarding flight information, passenger booking and reservation and lost and found baggage irregularities to foreign nationals; *Checks-in outbound passengers and their luggage based on their flight itinerary; *Assists inbound passengers through immigration and customs and assist outbound passengers in boarding the flight; *Makes public announcement of arrivals, departures and boarding details in foreign language; *Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the job or for skill development |
