Job Title: Specialist - IT Quality Assurance
Job Duties: Responsible for performing tests on computer applications to isolate and solve issues. Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems. This is a hands-on position that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of the team's manual and automation efforts. To perform all duties in accordance with company approved policies and within the realm of the company vision, mission and values. Design and execute test plans on computer applications. Record and document results and compare to expected results. Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected. Generate historical analysis of test results. Document anomalies and issues. Maintain database of software defects. Examine code and execution of code in various environments. Verify specific action or function of code. Operate and maintain test networks. Provide application instructions for users. Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources. Perform application security audits. Implement application designs, create queries, scripts, web pages and other deliverables. Ensure data integrity standards. Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Related Curriculum a minimum. Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma. Work Experience: Sound knowledge and experienced more than 3 years in IT operations, audit, security controls, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction. Good knowledge of gaming, hospitality and BOH solutions.IT compliance practices and operational processes in a large casino and/or enterprise. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
