Job Title: Assistant Director, Hospitality Projects
Job Duties: Responsibilities includes, but not limited to the following: Special Projects Management  Create, propose, plan, coordinate and execute all projects initiated by, or related to, the Human Resources function.  Manage and allocate HR manpower and other resources with respect to scope of projects.  Assist new-built property HR departments with establishing structure and system, in preparation for creating and maintaining the optimal operation and administration team.  Act as objective third party, deliver periodic review on areas for improvement within and related to the Human Resources department.  Coordinate with corporate headquarter with regards to conformity with corporate policies and visions.  Work with department heads to identify staff with potential in project management, and assist to develop said talents.  Attend regional meetings to collect information on projects and follow up.  Continuously strive to meet and exceed KPI setup by supervisor. Employee Relations  Oversee the planning and execution of staff events and activities, including but not limited to: monthly birthday parties, holiday events, training sessions, and informative general meetings.  Work with upper management to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction towards the Human Resources department and the overall loyalty towards to company.  Work with middle management to proactively collect info and feedback on key factors that affect employee satisfaction and loyalty.  Establish rapport with front-line employees, become a goodwill ambassador of the Human Resources department. Human Resources Administration  Be a trustworthy, supportive and reliable leader for all Human Resources staff.  Assist to manage and resolve staff complaints and concerns about any issues that might affect HR employees’ performance and wellbeing.  Cooperate with operation and HR managers to improve overall human resources management strategies and allocation. Provide consultative advices and/or propose initiatives that will improve and enhance HR performance of the entire management team.  Follow through on the creation, planning, coordination and execution of the aforementioned initiatives.  Complete any other tasks assigned by Director of HR and/or upper management.

Qualification Requirements: Education Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or Human Resources management Experience Minimum fifteen years experience in the hospitality industry Minimum five years experience working in a multinational corporation, preferable international hotel chains Minimum two years project management experience Qualifications - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - International hotel pre-opening experience is a plus. - International hotel operations experience is a plus. - Language: Must have excellent command of Chinese Mandarin and English, both oral and written is a plus. Good command of Cantonese is a plus. - Has experience and welcomes the challenge of working in a fast-paced, volatile environment. - Proactive, self-driven, independent and responsible work ethic. - Good interpersonal and presentation skills - Analytical, with a strategic mind-set. - Grace under pressure
