| Job Duties: | Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and structures, such as pipes and boilers, applying knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, equipment, and fabrication requirements. Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations as required. Requisitions of applicable supplies. Inspects work or confers with Construction Site Manager and Project Manager to maintain specified standards and quality. Trains workers in operation of equipment and supplies. Supervises brazing, soldering, fitting, and assembly of structural frames. Performs other duties as assigned by Construction Site Manager and/or Project Manager. |
