| Job Title: | Lead Physical Therapist |
| Job Duties: | Coordinate evaluation and treatment or patient care plan of patients referred from physicians for treatment of various neurological, musculoskeletal, burn and wound care, and other physical dysfunctions. Develop therapy programs in accordance with the instructions of a physician. Participate in daily discharge planning. Attend committee meetings as assigned by Physical Therapy Manager. Provide in-service training and continuing education as needed to PT staff, PT technicians and hospital staff. Provide or supervise physical therapy staff in providing body mechanics in-service for hospital staff. Coordinate the delivery and manages the quality of services provided by physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapist technician. Address and resolve quality assurance issues in timely manner. Review staff’s documentation for appropriateness, accuracy, timeliness and completeness. Substitute for PT staff as needed. Recruit, interview and assist in selection of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Technicians/Aides as needed. Orient and train new PTs and PT technician/aide. Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a US accredited program, or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy from another country whose credentials are accepted in the U.S.A. Licensed by the CNMI Healthcare Professions Licensing Board (HCPLB) to engage in the practice of Physical Therapy. Able to solve problems independently and confidently by applying analytical and logical thinking. Communicate and work effectively with individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. |
