Job Title: LOGISTICS MANAGER
Job Duties: Prepares proposals to prospective customers for possible logistics business in coordination with Corporate Logistics, Sales & Marketing and Finance Departments. Monitors preparation of service agreements up to its finalization in coordination with the General Manager and Legal Counsel. Communicates customer requirements to respective supervisors referring to signed agreements. Supervises service provision of the Trucking & Hauling, Distribution Center and Maintenance Sections by working with respective supervisors. Monitors performance of supervisors and staff and conducts periodic performance appraisals. Reviews and approves purchases of supplies and equipment for the department to ensure efficiency and proper control. Oversees provision of fleet and seaport facility maintenance requirements. Prepares/ reviews reports for management and formulates recommendation. Performs other duties as maybe required from time to time.

Qualification Requirements: Graduate of 4-year degree course and with at least 6 years management experience in the logistics business with emphasis on airfreight, ocean freight forwarding, warehousing and fuel hauling operations. Knowledge of Federal Regulations in Transportation, Environmental and Occupational Safety Hazards is required. Must have obtained certifications/training in Hazmat, Occupational Safety and Hazardous Waste Operation, Emergency Response, IICL (Container and Chassis), Petroleum Standard Operating Procedure and Vehicle Safety Guidelines.
