| Job Duties: | Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Assess, implement, evaluate and develop a written nursing plan of care. Evaluate and revise the nursing care plan as necessary to meet the stated goals. Responsible for the admission and discharge of assigned patients. Oversees LPNs, GNs, and NAs. Communicate openly and effectively with members of the health care team, other professionals, patients and family members. Demonstrate current knowledge of the legal and ethical standards of nursing practice and patient care. Participate in QAPI and CQPI programs. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Start intravenous (IV) infusion and adds medications to IV fluids as ordered by the physician. Responsible for the total nursing care of assigned patients. Must practice safe and sound nursing judgments in providing care for assigned patients. Must be able to prioritize, be flexible, and manage time efficiently to accommodate work flow and variability within the unit. Ensure that Medicare and other U.S. regulatory standards are applied and practiced by nursing professional. Perform as Charge Nurse when assigned. Demonstrate as a preceptor or mentor as needed. Perform other related duties or tasks as needed. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations.Employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers. These occupations usually involve using communication and organizational skills to coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals. Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized/accredited school of Nursing. Must pass NCLEX-RN and must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Commonwealth Board of Nurse Examiners (CBNE) to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). Must possess BLS/ACLS Certifications. Ability to work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. |
