| Job Duties: | The Assistant Pastry Cook is responsible in assisting the Pastry Cook in pastries, desserts and baked goods preparation and presentation activities. Assists the Pastry Cook on daily assignment outlined by the Pastry Supervisor. Assists the Pastry Cook and Bakers as needed in execution of production. Assists the Pastry Cook enhance the daily buffet presentations, centerpieces and breads. Assists in developing new dessert items for all Food & Beverage outlet. Liaises with the Pastry Cook regarding all areas where pastries and bread are served for their freshness and quality. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintains an organized and sanitary work area at all times. Keeps the work area fresh all throughout every shift. Makes sure that all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately. Constantly uses safe and hygienic food handling practices. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum of two (2) years of related experience with bread making, pastry making and cake decorating. Must have previous experience in high volume production including large banquets, functions and special events. High School Diploma or higher is required.
