| Job Duties: | Assist with all phases of operations in Food & Beverage outlets, including scheduling, training of staff, and supervision of staff during dining hours.Coordinate with Restaurant Managers to provide coverage for special events. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate pertinent information to the staff such as house count and menu changes. Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments. Consistent communication with leadership regarding needed improvements in product, physical restaurant, and training. Interact positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and ensure service standards are met. Coordinate special events in the restaurant. Maintain profitability of outlet to support overall hotel operation. Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse). Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Give guidance towards improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency. Train, supervise, counsel and manage restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet. Ensure that all service staff are in proper uniform. Keeps accurate log of operations on a daily basis. Submits monthly report and sales analysis to F&B Director. Ensures that dining room is adequately stocked with necessary supplies. Periodically checks other outlets to ensure that service is flowing smoothly. Related tasks as required. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum of five (5) years restaurant and/or hotel food and beverage experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of Banquet leadership role required. An Associate’s Degree or higher or equivalency related to hotel food and beverage. Will manage all service aspects of food and beverage functions in accordance with the policies of the hotel. Must be able to make right decisions to ensure guests satisfaction and judge employee performance and standards. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary. Must be knowledgeable of banquet set-ups, policies and procedures. Must have experience in budgeting and managing banquet operations. Must be able to successfully coordinate staff and resources in high volume, time sensitive environment. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. |
