Job Title: Assistant Manager- Gaming Technical Service
Job Duties: To actively manage staff to ensure a high standard of service is delivered in line with departmental Service Standards and to promote the importance of positive customer relations. To ensure a safe and clean environment for gaming customers. To deliver a quality customer experience, in a welcoming and entertaining environment, providing value and always conducted with integrity. To maximize the productivity of Technicians and other contractors ensuring that all repairs, configurations/installations and maintenance are completed in a timely manner with minimal disruption and down time to the operation of casino. To maintain database and potential systems that may be implemented for logistics, spare parts and other. To inspect and test new software, hardware and gaming machines. Develop and maintain all table games related equipment. Report new faults and other relevant information to manufacturers as required. To ensure an ongoing commitment to train all staff in current and future equipment used by the casino. To satisfy Management requests for information by continually updating and displaying an extensive knowledge of: System Upgrades, Software Updates, Gaming machine and table movements, Spare parts & usage. To ensure smooth and efficient operations by continually liaising with technicians, operations and senior management regarding all aspects of the technical operations. To supervise to ensure all contractors / suppliers / staff are provided with a safe work environment at all times through involvement, supervision and clear direction. To ensure that all internal policies regarding safety are maintained and followed. To develop reports within the designated timeframes for the EG Technical Manager on all facets of the technical operation including updated procedures, product movement outcomes, rosters and recommendations of departmental improvements. To contribute, supervise and act in accordance with Departmental policies & procedures. To ensure regulations are followed at all time.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Degree in Electronics/Electrical or engineering desired. Must have a track record of effective management and team building within the Electronic Gaming Technical or Gaming Industry. A minimum of one or two years experiences in a Casino (Electronic Gaming) Technical Supervisory position is required. Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need. Must be able to work independently or with a team. Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
