Job Title: Senior Manager- Systems
Job Duties: Design server/storage/backup solutions with reliable connectivity to support application systems including resilient features for High Availability and Disaster Recovery. Design and implement system security for the access control and enhance the security level within the server environments including change control policy and security patches implement. Design and implement the Directory Service to support user credentials for login authentication across to the corporate Intranet and manage the user/group rights to access to the AD-integrated applications and file sharing service. Manage properties performance counter and report performance of server/storage/backup systems including issues on a regular basis. Prepare the information of the Capacity Management to help optimizing the server utilization and performance. Define the Backup strategy and perform it as daily operation and make sure all backup tapes are safety to the storage of data in remote locations. Restore/Recovery is depended on the user request or service contingency plan while any disaster happened. Design and define control and operate the corporate Data Center and its backup site. Re-configure and fine-tune server architecture in co-operation with the System Operation & Support team for optimal cost effective performance. Provide guideline and procedure to local properties technical support team how to support the ongoing operational tasks while serving to the user departments. Provide second-level support to properties technical team on any issues. Evaluate new server/ storage/backup technology and produce relevant reports.

Qualification Requirements: Education: College Degree holder in Computer Science or Information Technology Related Curriculum a minimum Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in gaming sector to support gaming and hotel systems platform and applications, sound experience on development and operation infrastructure environment design at least 2 years in a management role Experience in developing large IT systems, preferably in a large casino or large enterprise Experience in SAP solution is preferable Certification: Any Business Related or Technology Related certifications a plus. Microsoft Certified System Engineer, VMWARE VCP, ITILv3 certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation. Extensive knowledge of gaming industry IT development and/or operation environment desirable Exposure to casino systems and peripherals from major vendors like Bally, I.G.T. and Aristocrat desirable Extensive knowledge of Casino Management System design, maintenance & trouble shooting. IT compliance practices and operational processes in a large casino and/or enterprise Strategic organization planning and implementation Enterprise scale of Microsoft infrastructure design and server virtualization experience Solid knowledge to operate DataCenter operations and ISO27001 requirements Extensive knowledge of backup solution inclusive of bare bone metal and backup replication over WAN envoirnment. Budget planning and control covering all aspects of IT projects with formal processes Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
