Job Title: Japanese Language Teacher (for Elementary, Middle School, and High School)
Job Duties: Provide classroom instruction at the grade level(s) and in the subject area(s) assigned; maintain accurate and complete records of each student’s academic progress; submit daily student attendance report and weekly lesson plans; communicate with parents as early as possible during each quarter so that they kept informed of their child’s behavior and performance; provide supervision of students during daily break time and lunch hour, and after school while students are waiting for their transportation or during any planned after school activities; assist with students’ supervision or take the role of adviser/coach at school related co-curricular and extra-curricular activities; maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning; support the Catholic identity of the school by attending religious functions; begin each class period with a prayer; teach in harmony with the philosophy and Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLR) and in conformity with the rules and regulation stated in the school handbook; attend and participate in parent/teacher organization meetings; attend and participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions as called by the school administrator; perform all other duties relating to the school’s operation which may be assigned by the president/principal or designee.
