Job Title: Steward Coordinator
Job Duties: • To perform confidential secretarial and administrative duties to Stewarding Department. • Works closely and collaboratively with F&B department, outlets and staffs, building strong two-way communication and understanding. • Coordinates between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems. • Composes and prepares written documentation and correspondence for the office. • Screens and evaluates incoming and outgoing correspondence and prepares responses as appropriate. • Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain departmental records and databases; establishes and maintains files and records for the office. • Responsible for the production and circulation of rosters and to arrange replacements for rostered staff that are unable to work their rostered shifts. • Tracks the overall workload of the team, facilitating an allocation of work that shares the load, best utilizes stewards’ different strengths, and provides opportunities for growth and development. • Helping the team to develop and to work in a cohesive, effective and organized manner. • Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. • To receive, process and record staffs’ leave applications such as sick leaves and annual leaves. • Reports to supervisor and assists all supports to the daily operations • Remains well-mannered and well-groomed as per Department and Company standards. • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures. • Ability to multi-task. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Previous relevant experience in 5 star hotels/well known properties is an advantage. • Primary school or equivalent experience. • Knowledge of stewarding operations. • Good knowledge of all F&B and kitchen equipment. • Responsible, self-motivated and independent. • Good organization skills. • Computer literate, with maximum level understanding of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high pressure work environment. • Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demand.
