| Job Duties: | -Take orders from patrons for food or beverages. -Check with customers and resolve customer complaints regarding food/beverage service. -Collect payments from customers. Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift. -Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures. -Assist with staff duties, section assignments, and staff schedules. -Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities. -Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and report disciplinary needs to Manager. -Assist with various financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll. -Control inventories of food/beverages, equipment, and smallware. -Report shortages to Manager. -Purchase or requisition supplies and equipment needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. -Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. -Other related duties as assigned. |
