| Job Duties: | Advise architects, builders, and other construction personnel on fire prevention equipment and techniques, and on fire code and standard interpretation and compliance; Inspect buildings or building designs to determine fire protection system requirements and potential problems in areas such as water supplies, exit locations, and construction materials; Design fire detection equipment, alarm systems, and fire extinguishing devices and systems; Prepare and write reports detailing specific fire prevention and protection issues, such as work performed, revised codes or standards, and proposed review schedules; Determine causes of fires and ways in which they could have been prevented. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have 2.5+ years experience of fire prevention and protection engineering. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services, proficient in fire, mechanical and electrical construction specifications and construction technology; strong communication, management ability, strong sense of responsibility; have a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, can be bold and independent work; quick and clear thinking, strong external communication and coordination. Must obtain CNMI Driver’s license upon start of employment. Fluency in Mandarin highly preferred. |
