| Job Duties: | Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant and grounds. Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns. Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures. Supports hotel departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists. Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance associates. Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations. Deals with guest related concerns and maintain the guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel. Must possess knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation. Diagnose mechanical problems and determined how to correct them. Checking blue prints, repaid manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Repair machine, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, saws, drills or wrenches. Must have knowledge of working a drain or pipe cleaning equipment, pipe or tube cutter, power drills, and power saws. Must have skills to maintain and repair equipment. Clean and maintain pool and spa area. Performs other task as determined and assigned by supervisor and management. Performed any special project or tasked assigned by Supervisor/Director and Management. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Requires a high school diploma with some apprenticeship program in carpentry field. Have at least few months to one year of working with experienced employees of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in this field. Must possess skills in exterior and interior finish work, be able to measure accurately and calculate dimensions. Can understand, read and interpret blue prints. Knowledgeable in using carpenter's specific tools and power tools. Ability to climb ladder and withstand heights, lift and carry heavy objects. Good eye-hand coordination is also needed. Be able and willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekend and holiday. |
