Job Title: Barman
Job Duties: • Create monthly and seasonal drinks menus. • Setup the bar for service. • Clean and tidy the bar and equipment frequently. • Maintain stock levels and control monthly inventory. • Store food, beverages and equipment properly. • Familiar with drink lists, menu items, products and services, Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and upsell alternatives. • Checks ID for all guests and complies with state and federal laws. • Familiar with all the resort’s facilities and services. • Prepare beverages for guests, including wines, cocktails, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. • Deliver high quality products and services to every guest, including Asian / International guests. • Introduce available beverages and make recommendations. • Greet guests in a warm, welcoming and courteous manner. • Address guests’ requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction. • Establish a rapport with guests and build good customer relationships. • Inform management about guests’ comments. • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Minimum of 1 years F&B related experience in a five (5) star hotel environment or well-known property; Bar/Lounge is an advantage. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience. • Good product knowledge of beverages and bar operations; cash handling. • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks, including wines, cocktails, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks or other drinks. • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries; knowledge of Cantonese, Japanese and Korean is an advantage. • Knowledge of POS Software. • Customer service oriented, good communication, interpersonal and good salesperson skill. • Well-groomed, excellent hygiene, confident, friendly and polite. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high pressure work environment. • Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands. • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Must be able to multi-task.

Comments: Workers Compensation provided. Housing, food and transportation may or may not be provided, contingent on a case-by-case basis.
