| Job Duties: | Duties: Manages and directs the company's overall operations. Assists corporate officers in planning, formulating, and implementing periodic modifications to the company’s business goals, marketing strategies, merchandising policies and operational procedures. Manages and directs the company's sales and marketing in conformity and consistent with the company’s sales policies and marketing strategies; monitoring overall sales and marketing activities and managing contractual arrangements for import of merchandise; and managing inventory. Manages the company’s operational budget and overall profitability of the company; overseeing compliance with legal requirements for its operations. Assists the corporate officers with directing the development of new business prospects for the company, including conducting and overseeing feasibility analyses and cost assessments for expansion into new product lines and market areas, and directing the expansion of the company into viable new market. Manages and directs the activities of the company's managerial, professional, and subordinate personnel, over whom he has authority to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and other personnel actions. Oversees and directs the various independent contractors and agents retained by the company to assist with its business operations, which currently include shipping agents, transportation companies, service contractors, and legal counsel. Exercises decision making authority over the operations and functions of company. |
