| Job Duties: | Duties: Perform component level bench repair of various electronics equipment. Operate various test equipment to diagnose and isolate electronic problems. Interpret schematic diagrams. Utilize computer to document and record findings and to perform research. Perform after hours stand-by for emergency calls on operational head-end equipment and systems. Perform related duties as assigned. Perform all tasks related to the Hybrid Fiber Coaxial System's operation and maintenance. Improve all aspects of the Headend for the HFC Operation and Maintenance. Operate Fusion Splicer. Test fiber strands with an OTDR and other fiber test equipment. Possess knowledge of Headend Wiring/Cabling Documentation. Perform troubleshooting of the Headend. Possess knowledge of PathTrak Return Path Monitoring System and Stealth Sweep System. Possess knowledge of FCC compliance testing. Must be able to operate a Spectrum Analyzer and MPEG Analyzer. Observe all OSHA, NEC, and company safety rules and procedures. Perform other related duties, as assigned. |
