| Job Duties: | • Installs and/or oversees the installation, programming, and repair of electronic access controls, to include proximity card and swipe card hardware. • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property’s Access Control System. • Advises Security management regarding technical options and strategies for maintaining and enhancing building security; • Performs the work of re-keying rooms, cutting and issuing keys, installation of hardware, and other tasks as needed; • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. • Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. • Accesses, updates, and maintains Key and Electronic Access database; • Issue appropriate badges, maintains logs and visitor records in accordance with established compliance policies; • Programming or configuration of multiple access control platforms for the specified operation of the doors, card readers, badging systems and operator display; • Manage, train and mentor a team of Access Control personnel; • Provides a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and cooperation within the department, and other departments; • Performs other duties as directed by the Security Systems Manager. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • High school graduate or equivalent • Minimum 3 years of Access Control Systems and CCTV Systems • Good interpersonal and Communication skills. • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position • Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written • Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need • Must be able to work independently or with a team • Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction • Experience in operating IT systems including Access Control Systems and CCTV Systems. • Must be able to work various shifts including nights and weekends. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken). |
