Job Title: Assistant Manager - Learning & Development
Job Duties: Managing of Training & Development Program •Be the ambassador in championing grooming •Assist with design and implementation of the training program (including lesson plan and training methods – following company training philosophy and standards. • Design and develop training resources in accordance with company philosophy and standards which is not limited to facilitator handbooks, manuals, brochures, training aids, posters, multi-media tool and structure). • Develop and operate training aids and multi-media tools to present training materials. • Purchase and manage the inventory of training materials and supplies. • Preparation of day to day training materials (e.g. Materials, hand-outs, classroom set up) • Create and develop recognition strategies or system for motivation and enhance the rhythm of learning. • Maintain and monitor the training progress of departments. • Carryout internal training audit and follow through the action plan. • Ensure employee are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspect of the job. • Assist management in establishing and communicating goals and performance expectations to enhance understandings and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. • Assist in coaching and developing Employee encourage and motivate Employee to perform their best, collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly employee’s performance contributions. Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. • Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Communication • Develop communication and feedback mechanism to ensure the learning and understanding. • Assist in developing communication channel for training enrollment or updates.

Qualification Requirements: 4-year Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or related Hospitality Management major • Work experience: 2 – 3 years’ experience in Hotel Operations with training experience • Skills/Competencies: • Knowledge in hands-on training and facilitation • Experience in developing training plan and strategies • Organization and presentation skill • Good time management skills • Excellent communication skill and Microsoft Office Skills • Proficient in both English and Chinese • Demonstrate the team work and ability to work independently and multiple projects • Ability to operate training aids and multi-media tools to present training materials • Possess high level of flexibility • Ability to work under pressure • Preferred personal attributes: Integrity, positive demeanor, responsible , take ownership , self-motivation •Preferred Good command of spoken and written in English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
