| Job Duties: | Prepares budget-related reports and analysis. Reviews selling rates, commissions and profit-sharing agreements for purposes of ensuring that the company is receiving an equitable margin in every service rendered. Compiles and updates service agreements and contracts with customers, agents, suppliers and the like for purposes of ensuring the correctness and validity of rates and terms being used. Institutes financial control systems, policies and procedures. Reviews and recommends operational and financial computer systems where necessary, in coordination with IT and operating department heads. Works with the QSAT in effectively implementing quality management system. Conducts regular review of billing, collection and disbursement transactions in order to ensure integrity of such functions. Monitors compliance to statutory and government deadlines, tax and reporting requirements. Reviews and approves disbursements in whatever mode, and in accordance with the established approvals policy. Makes final entries into the books. Generates financial reports and performs required analysis. Furnishes copies of reports and corresponding statistics to operating and executive management for review and further analysis. Addresses any other financial information requirements. Performs reasonableness test and variance analysis for relevant accounts, where assigned. Investigates material variances where necessary. Manages daily cash flows and oversees financial investments in coordination with the Comptroller. Reviews and approves bank reconciliation statements and corresponding proposed adjusting entries. Reviews aging reports, accounts analysis and collection history. Reviews aging reports, accounts analysis and collection history. Takes necessary action in order to maximize and speed-up collections. Conducts regular reviews of the balance sheet accounts to ensure the validity, existence and accuracy of recorded figures. Performs other related duties as maybe required from time to time. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Graduate of 4-year degree course in accounting with at least 5 years experience in financial management: directing the preparation of financial reports; implementing cash management; and directing investment activities for a logistics supply chain business operations. Must have excellent written communication and analysis skills for financial data reporting. Proficient in the use of SAP R3 Financial and Controlling (FICO) software, freight forwarding, shipping and logistics software are a must. Expertise with MS Excel, Word and Power Point is required. Must be able to work under time pressure and can work flexible hours. |
