| Job Duties: | Job Purpose: • The SVP Human Resources is responsible for directing all the people functions of the company and its overseas subsidiaries in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company, the ethical and social consciences of business and society and the laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations. • The SVP Human Resources is also responsible for the strategic human resources planning to timely provide the company and its subsidiaries with the best people talent available and to position the company as the Employer of Choice by being aware of policies, practices and trends with the industry. Position Responsibilities: • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the company’s human resources function and performance. • Participates in the development of the corporate plans and programs as a strategic partner particularly from the perspective of the impact on people. • Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans. • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long term range planning of new programs and regulatory action as those items impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the corporation. • Develops staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation for positions of responsibility. • Develops progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs which utilize an employee and company partnership for the short and long-term health and welfare protection for the employees. • Develops human resources models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to filling of the gaps • Continually assesses the competitiveness for all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets. • Develops appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the corporation. • Enhances and develops, implements and enforces human resources policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. • Coordinates the activities, programs and strategic HR plans and other HR departments throughout the corporation. • Provides technical advice and knowledge to others within the human resources discipline. General Responsibilities: • Ensures consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained for the entire company. • Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same. • Performs other job-related duties as required. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Work Experience: A minimum of 30 years of experience in progressive human resources management with no less than 20 years of experience at senior executive level. • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline or equivalent. • Language: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Cantonese. Fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage. • Interactions: Must be able to interact with government officials, co-workers, senior management, internal and external parties in a professional and friendly manner. • Teamwork: Must be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and work as a team. • Pre-Opening Experience: Hands on experience with at least 3 pre-opening set up of Casino Hotel with workforce in excess of 1,000 and above. • Management Skills: Experience in managing all aspects of HR functions of at least 40 headcounts spanning across C&B, Recruitment, HRIS, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Learning and Development, Organizational Change. Shared Service knowledge is advantageous. • Coaching: Certified to coach top management to develop capabilities of high potential senior executives and having detail succession planning program of senior executives. • HRIS: Extensive knowledge in Human Resources Information System to efficiently manage human capital by managing information flow to provide top management with accurate information to make prudent decision. • Mass Recruitment: Experience in spearheading cross countries mass recruitment drive to hire employees from junior level to top management. • Performance Management: In depth knowledge of performance management system to cultivate a performance based environment within the company. Other requirements: Experience in managing the human resources function in a sizable multinational casino hotel organization of minimum 5,000 employees with multiple business units worldwide. |
