Job Title: Director of Workforce Planning and Labor Optimization
Job Duties: Support and drive continuous enhancements to the Workforce Planning’s strategic vision, strategy, and business objectives. Manage business plan and hiring plans for assigned units, particularly Gaming Operations. Oversee the achievement of maximum productivity and efficiencies for operation and administration units. Identify and analyze data trends and gap analysis to improve the labor efficiency and accurately predict long term and short term staffing capacity needs. Drive cost savings through improved operational efficiencies, including queue design, occupancy, and scheduling efficiencies. Forecast and monitors budget for assigned units. Strong ability to integrate data from multiple sources. Effectively facilitate meetings with senior leaders to organize and influence a strategic plan to drive results and ensure critical goals are met. Effectively build collaborative partnerships and alliances with all levels of management within the organization. Partner with other operational leadership and vendors to build strong working relationships, improve workflow processes, enhance Lean concept and solve for organizational opportunities to ensure that service levels and response time objectives are met. Manage, coaches and develops personnel talent. Serve as a subject matter expert in all Workforce Planning related topics. Ensure Virtual Roster and its environment is utilized efficiently. Provide an inclusive environment that motivates others and promotes associates engagement and development. Provide immediate support per management needs. Ensure that every process is aware of legal requirements and that work processes are adapted to meet those requirements. Report Payroll through Virtual Roster including regular time pay, over-time pay, holiday pay, personal time off pay and relevant compensation and benefits.

Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Finance or Statistics is preferred. Work Experience: Seven (7) or more years of experience in Workforce Planning in Gaming Industry with three (3) or more years of managerial position experiences in sizable property (150+ Gaming tables). Four years of experience in Workforce Planning, HC forecasting and financial budgets is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need Must be able to work independently or with a team Experience using reporting tools and deep expertise in Excel and Access (or other database tool). Experience with Lean and Operation Evaluation to drive operation enhancement, process improvements and labor efficiency. Solid knowledge of Virtual Roster and related working relationship with vendor. Strong ability to organize, keep track of details and produce results in an environment of rapid change and competing priorities. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (Written/Spoken). Ability to present workforce trends and metrics that impact business outcomes. Report in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences (business leaders of organization).
