| Job Duties: | Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations. Green Task Statement Confer and assist Construction Superintendent plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, cost tracking reports, or feasibility reports. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations. Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed. Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies. Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models. Assist with directing and supervising the construction or related workers. Requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects. To be responsible for site architecture and structure work, assisting on construction permits and/or licenses application, responsible for daily communications with local and federal agencies, to review construction unit’s schedule on architecture and structure, to assist on managing project quality and progress on architecture and structure, control construction costs, guarantee project quality and progress can be achieved as required. To take part in tendering for material purchases and propose recommendations to tender commission. To assist with supervising site safety and civilized construction management of construction unit, proposing suggestions to problems and reporting them. To cooperate and assist on inspecting the construction site quality. To carry out random inspection after passed inspection and make a record log. To participate in all project coordination and routine meetings, evaluate, accept and propose solutions to problems by discussion. Responsible with presentations to local and federal authorities/agencies. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Requires a four-year bachelor's degree in civil engineering, HVAC, or electrical. A considerable amount of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. Project Manager certificate is preferred. Employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. Many of these occupations involve coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Four (4) year degree in Construction Management or related field and must be of U.S. equivalency. 4 - 8 years of experience in Construction Management or related fields in dealing with U.S. or international construction business relations. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in having held an executive level position in construction or project management. Must be able to interpret written or oral Chinese language or dialects into an English translation. |
