| Job Duties: | Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Manage staff: supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting. Accomplished accounting human resource objectives. Communicate job expectations: planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions. Plan and review compensation actions. Enforce policies and procedures. Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Prepare and complete action plans. Implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends. Determine system improvements and implement change. Meet accounting financial objectives. Prepare annual budget. Schedule expenditures. Analyze variances, initiate corrective actions. Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses. Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data. Prepare social reports. Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures. Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy. Apply observations and recommendations to operational issues. Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation. | Qualification Requirements: | College degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration and 5 years of progressive financial management experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in directing the preparation of financial reports and implementing cash management activities. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to manage people. Proficient in the use of SAP R3 Financial and Controlling (FICO) system and Microsoft software. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of standard office equipment. Able and willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends. |
