Job Title: Passenger and Cargo Services Shift Supervisor
Job Duties: Determine the quantity and orientation of cargo and compute an aircraft's center of gravity. Direct ground crews in the loading, unloading, securing, or staging of aircraft cargo or baggage. Train new employees in areas such as safety procedures or equipment operation. Distribute cargo in such a manner that space use is maximized. Calculate load weights for different aircraft compartments, using charts and computers. Manage, coordinate and control activities at the station particularly cargo and passenger services. Plan, organize, or manage the work of personnel to ensure that customers are provided with assistance in air transportation in a manner consistent with company procedures, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), U.S. Department of Transportation, and other applicable regulations. Specific tasks: • Direct personnel within assigned functional area. • Participate in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of personnel. • Responsible for the training of his/her station personnel. • Is responsible for compliance with the sections of the FAR’s that relate to the station personnel and activities. • Is responsible for maintenance of customer service standards and goals at the station. • Is responsible for providing a safe environment at the station for Company personnel and customers. • Is responsible for the safe handling of invoices, air waybills, and cash at the station, ensuring timely banking and completion of all records. • Supervise the cargo and passenger operations to ensure all activities are completed safely and in an efficient manner. • May perform company specific procedures relevant to acceptance and handling of cargo. • Is responsible for supervising personnel and performing required operations functions such as radio communications, retention of records and dissemination of information to crew members as may be required.

Qualification Requirements: • High school diploma required. • Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is usually needed. Employees in these occupations need anywhere from a few months to one year of working with experienced employees. These occupations often involve using your knowledge and skills to help others. With 3 years of experience providing customer service for a U.S. Air Carrier as defined in Title 14 Part 119 of the US Code of Federal Regulations. Supervisory experience preferred. • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours or shifts within a 24 hour period including nights, weekends and holidays as may be required by the company. • Physically able to lift items of at least 50 lbs., and able perform work outside and in extreme temperatures and inclement weather. • Computer literate. • Hardworking, self-starter, dependable and able to work in a multicultural environment.
