Job Title: | Telecommunication and Computer Network Cabling Installer |
Job Duties: | Installation of telecommunication and computer network cabling for all the ELV systems involved in the project, and ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Plan layout and installation of telecommunication and computer network cabling based on job specifications and local codes. Co-operate with pipe layers, other installers and technicians, to ensure relevant installation of telecommunication and computer network cabling fit to the technical and functional needs, in terms of both technical aspects and installation schedule. Inspect, observe, foresee, and prevent conflicts with other cabling systems from other partners/sub-contractors involved in the project, report to superior and negotiate/coordinate with other partners/sub-contractors directly onsite when necessary. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship, related on the job experience. Minimum of one or two years. 3 years working experiences as a telecommunication and computer network cabling installer. Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications and computer network systems. Knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or installation practices, including but not limited to copper and fiber optic infrastructure cabling methods. Knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and terminations. Ability to follow engineering instructions and diagram, rules and regulations. Ability to read and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models; Willing to follow instructions and orders from superiors; Must have good teamwork spirits. Must be physically fit and able to work in shifts. |
