Job Title: | Security Systems Installer |
Job Duties: | Installation and commissioning of hardware and wiring for surveillance, intrusion detection, access control systems, and any other security system/components involved in the project, and ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Plan layout and installation of surveillance, intrusion detection, access control components and hardware based on job specifications and local codes. Co-operate with cabling installers and security equipment technicians, to ensure relevant installation of surveillance, intrusion detection, access control components and hardware fit to the technical and functional needs, in terms of both technical aspects and installation schedule. Inspect, observe, foresee, and prevent conflicts with other electronic and/or mechanical systems from other partners/sub-contractors involved in the project, report to superior and negotiate/coordinate with other partners/sub-contractors directly onsite when necessary. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship, related on the job experience. Minimum of 1-2 years working experience as a security systems installer. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property. Knowledge of electronic equipment and hardware for security access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, including installation, connection, and wiring. Ability to follow engineering instructions and diagram, rules and regulations. Ability to read and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Willing to follow instructions and orders from superiors; Must have good teamwork spirits. Must be physically fit and able to work in shifts. |
