Job Title: Chief Pilot
Job Duties: The Chief Pilot is directly responsible to the Director of Operations for all aspects related to pilots. He may discharge his duties and certain tasks to meet applicable legal requirements and to maintain safe operations, but at all times retains responsibility. Specific tasks:  Reports to the Director of Operations. o• Supervises flight crew personnel. o• Conducts or supervises all training activities of flight crew personnel. o• Advises the Director of Operations regarding the training of flight crew personnel. o• Assists the Director of Operations in formulating operations policies, coordinates those policies, and coordinates operations and training. o• Ensures that all aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations. o• Disseminates information to all crewmembers pertaining to routes, airports, NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, company policies, and regulations. o• Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command. o• Schedules flight crewmembers, including assigning Pilot-in-Command duties. o• Prepares and maintains proficiency records, pilot files, flight schedules, duty time records, reports, and correspondence pertaining to flight operations activities. o• Submits all reports regarding flight personnel to the Director of Operations. o• Keeps the aircraft copies of this Operations Manual current. • Ensures that all flight crew personnel are certified and supervised according to the requirements specified in the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Qualification Requirements: • Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(b) as follows:  U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot License  Minimum total time of 500 hours  Total cross country time of 100 hours, 25 of which are at night • High preference for pilots with an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or Flight Instructor rating. • College degree highly preferred • Must hold a valid US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) medical certificate • Must be willing and able to work a combination of shifts within a 24 hour period (including holidays) as may be required by the company • Must pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test. • Able to adapt and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment. • Must be knowledgeable of: aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, the entire contents of the Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
