Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor
Job Duties: Accomodate hotel customers by registering and assigning rooms, issuing keys or cards,transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guest accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statement to and collecting payment from departing guests. Monitor inventory and order general office supplies. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Process all check-ins, outs and payment types including resolving any charge. Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications. Supervises access to safe deposit boxes. Have knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services including handling large group. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities. Organize special functions such as VIP cocktail receptions. Arrange for secretarial services, if needed. Works closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work. Whenever necessary, they are responsible for checking on room condition before check in time. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices. Help guest with their luggage and lead them to their rooms. Handle guest arrival with pick up request to and from airport. Operate telephone switchboard station and standby at the arrival terminal for every flight arrival if needed. Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip. Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness. Runs Front Office shifts whenever necessary
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least two years of related work experience in the hotel industry. Knowledge in hotel system Opera is preferred. Acquired hospitality related program is an asset. Speak with others using clear and professional language; Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, graveyard, weekends and holidays. Be able to work in flexible position, front desk, concierge desk, bell desk and telephone switchboard station. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisors. Have excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. Be able to stand, sit, walk and jog for an extended period of time and have to carry up to 70 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Have valid CNMI driver’s license
