Job Title: ELECTRICIAN
Job Duties: Plan lay out and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Use a variety of tools and equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps. Diagnose malfunctioning system, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Assist in the sales and marketing of Electrical products sold at the company’s Hardware Division.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: College graduate or vocational school on related experience 1 to 2 years working experience,will pass licensing or have license to perform the job ..Provide access for future maintenance and avoid unreliable wiring, consistent with verification and electrical codes, and other related duties as assigned. Capable of reading schematic diagram and electrical symbols, knowledgeable on industrial electricity, circuit breakers, switches and controls. Must work in a flexible way that allows for changes in assignments and priorities depending upon identified needs of the department. Must be able to work a variable schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
