Job Title: Ferry Project Manager
Job Duties: Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles, such as aircraft or railroad cars. Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, environmental policies, or government regulations. Green Task Statement Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories. Implement schedule or policy changes for transportation services. Direct or assist consultants and contractors in obtaining all necessary information regarding the development of the ferry operation. Manage or assist in researching and developing a site development plan for a roll-on and roll-off dock operation and berthing facility. Coordinate or assist in obtaining lot plans and other land documents for the proposed site and locations involving ferry operations. Manage the completion of the development of a ferry boat launching dock in the ports of Saipan and Tinian. Develop schematic site plan(s) for the proposed ferry dock which will aid in securing the sub-lease for the actual project site. Coordinate and assist the CEO in securing the sublease agreement on the land in Saipan. Assist in developing site safety procedures. Coordinate and develop vehicle (including trucks with trailers) and passenger staging area(s). Conduct regular site visitation and assessments of site conditions on all proposed locations involving ferry operational activity. Assist in the coordination of obtaining specifications for the proposed ferry vessel. Assist in reviewing and the proposal for the design and permitting work related to the next phase of the ferry dock development.

Qualification Requirements: Require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not.A considerable amount of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. Employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. Many of these occupations involve coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Associates degree in a related job field and previous years (1-2) of related on the job experience involving maritime operations/activity, or several years of work-related experience in a management role or involving maritime operations.
