Job Title: Shallow Water Lifeguards
Job Duties: The Shallow Water Lifeguard works in the Sports, Entertainment and Activities (SEA) department of the Pacific islands Club, Saipan (PIC). The Shallow Water Lifeguard works alongside the Clubmate team. The Clubmates, along with the Shallow Water Lifeguard, represent the image of PIC and are dubbed “the ambassadors of fun”. The Shallow Water Lifeguard is positive, courteous, friendly, energetic, organized, entertaining and helpful. In busy season, Shallow Water Lifeguard occasionally may work up to 60 hours per week. Must be able to participate in and/or instruct a variety of sports offered at PIC including windsurfing, archery, tennis, golf, and snorkeling. Must be able to show enthusiasm and implement various activities to entertain the guests. Must be willing to assist or participate in nightly shows and activities. Must perform minor maintenance, construction and cleaning necessary to ensure an aesthetic PIC. Must be able to fulfill the various responsibilities required to work in a number of areas within SEA. The following are the SEA duty areas: Riverpark, Water park, Beach Center, Tennis Court, Information Center, Archery Area, Activities, Shows and Kids Club.

Qualification Requirements: Must have previous related work experience and must pass all American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard requirements (including a 100 yard continuous swim test and tread water for two minutes using only the legs). Sports-minded individuals are encouraged to apply. Paid training and free two year lifeguard certification course for eligible candidates. Must be able to work on evenings, weekends and holidays. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
