| Job Duties: | 1. Operate vehicle and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicle, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutlers and pruning saws. 2. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. 3. Care for established lawns, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. 4. Use hand tools, such as shovel, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. 5. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners or chain saws. 6. Gather and remove litter. 7. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouse, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools. 8. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. 9. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters or other ground features. 10. Select or cut trees according to marking or sizes, types or grades. 11. Plant variety of landscaping materials like lawns, shrubbery, flowers for the purpose of keeping the ground attractive. 12. Cleans all equipment use in grounds maintenance such as mowers, trailers, wood chipper, bush cutter and a variety of hand/power tools. 13. Landscapes new ground areas, repairs damaged ground areas and replace bushes, shrubs and lawns in order to control plant disease and insects. 14. Blustering the fence, parking lot when needed. 15. Repainting the parking lot space and lines if needed. 16. Pick up trashes all the time. 17. Perform other task assigned and determined by the Department Head. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Requires high school diploma or GED Certificate. At least three months of work related experience and knowledge in maintaining and monitoring daily operations of the grounds. Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment, ability to follow oral and written directions. Knowledgeable in creating plant nursery and gardening technique and procedure. Must be able to work under the sun and can stand for prolonged period of time and capable of lifting at least 50lbs. must be able to acquire Pesticide Applicator License, if needed. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, weekends and holidays. |
