| Job Duties: | Job duties may be performed at various locations as Joeten Ace Hardware provide services to eligible customers at their residences. Job duties may include: Disassemble appliances so that problems can be diagnosed and repairs can be made. Bill customers for repair work, and collect payment. Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds. Service and repair domestic electrical and/or gas appliances such as clothes washers, refrigerators, stoves, and dryers. Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions,Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.Repair & cost estimate of machine to be fixed. Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. Does other duties as assigned from time to time. |
