Job Title: | Chinese Cuisine Chef |
Job Duties: | The Chef will be responsible of set ups and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces among others). Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Answer, report and follow executive chef's instructions. Clean up stations and take care of leftover food. Stock inventory and coordinate with vendors. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards; all while maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must have a proven education or training background in the culinary industry. Extensive knowledge and experience in cooking gourmet Chinese Cuisine dishes preferred. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Able to work with accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Familiar with the industry's best practices. Preferably a candidate with a Culinary School Diploma. |
