Job Title: Legal Documents Processor/Courier
Job Duties: Perform personal service for clients, to be responsible for handling confidential documents, delivery of USPS mail, depositing of cash into client bank accounts, and filing of legal documents with the proper and appropriate governmental agencies. Review documents to ascertain whether all the necessary forms are included to be lodged with the the responsible government agency. Be responsible to file timely court documents. Pick up customer mail from USPS post offices. Sort mail for delivery according to location along route. Drive company vehicle to deliver mail and documents. Complete delivery forms, collects charges, maintain accounting books of funds collected and charges for services made. Obtain receipts and signature on receipts for delivery of specified types of mail. Enter changes of address in route book and re-addresses mail to be forwarded. Deliver specialized types of mail and be designated parcel post. Pick up outgoing mail from clients. Deliver messages, telegrams, documents, packages, and other items to business establishments as requested by clients. Obtain payment from customers for articles delivered and maintain accounting records of such payment. Service vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel. Distribute information and messages by direct personal or telephone contact, involving such activities as delivering mail, relaying messages by telephone, arranging travel accommodations, and directing visitors at reception points. Keep log of items received and delivered. Notify or locate customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment, using postal services, telephone, or personal visit. Mails form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Contacts delinquent account customers in person. Wrap, inspect, weigh, and affixes postage to parcel post packages, and record them. Weigh packages and determines postage, using scale and parcel post zone book, and affix postage stamps to packages. Addresses packages or compares addresses with records to verify accuracy. Sorts bundles, boxes or lots of articles for delivery. Carry boxes, packages and other items weighing 40 lbs or more and deliver the same to clients whose offices may be located on higher floors. Serve legal documents to individuals pursuant to Commonwealth or Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Other tasks to be assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Employee must be honest, punctual, diligent, dependable, organized, presentable, dress appropriately, and maintain good work and performance ethics. Must have professional demeanor and attitude. Have no criminal record. Must be able to be bondable and insurable. Be a good and safe driver. Have no traffic convictions. Be a High School Graduate and possess a certificate of graduation. Have strong time-management skills. Preferred: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must be able to work in stressful, time sensitive environment. Must be able to follow complex instructions accurately and completely. Have a minimum of one year of experience in processing legal documents, property/land documents processing, document process serving, tax and financial documents processing, postal/freight documents and bank deposits, record keeping, etc. Upon Pre-Employment: Must submit police and traffic clearances. Must submit to drug testing.
