| Job Duties: | * Set up, program, operate, or tend computerized or manual woodworking machines, such as drill presses, lathes, shaper, routers, sanders, planers, or wood-railing machines. * Examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rulers, calipers, templates, or gauges.*Start machines, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure that machinery is operating properly. * Monitor operation of machines and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. * Examine raw wood stock for defects and to ensure conformity to size and other specification standards. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have a minimum experience of (1) year in wood carving, or cutting tool (knife) in one hand or a chisel by two hands or with one hand on a chisel and one hand on a mallet, resulting in wooden figure or figurine, or in the sculptural ornament of a wooden object. Must have knowledge in operating manual woodworking machines. Must be willing to work flexible hours and be able to work under time pressure to ensure timely completion of projects. Applicant must be of good moral character, good work ethics, reliable and stress tolerant and able to work flexible hours.
