Job Title: | Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic |
Job Duties: | The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the catering trucks, sedans and van, to ensure that all vehicles are functional at all times, in accordance with the safety regulations set by the authorities and the company. Also assist the Maintenance Manager with general maintenance jobs within and around the catering facility. Identify and correct any discrepancy that would impede delivery capability of each vehicle. Perform maintenance and repair action to keep all vehicles within safe daily operation capability. Respond to emergency calls (breakdown) from LSG delivery vehicles in and out of AOA. Prepare scheduled delivery trucks and vehicles before safety inspection. Perform preventive maintenance measures on each vehicle and keep records. Maintain and records, log inspection reports on each vehicle. Coordinate with maintenance manager and supervisor to update list of spare parts and availability of each for daily usage and emergency repairs. Purchase spare parts and materials if necessary and perform other duties and tasks as directed. Performs other duties as may be required by the mission of the company. |

Qualification Requirements: | 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of diesel and gasoline powered equipment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the preferable knowledge, abilities and skills. Must have knowledge of fundamental auto electrical and electronic skills. Understand hydraulic systems. Proficient in the use of the English language (written and oral). Good communication skills. Good organizational skills. Must be able to make independent, well thought out decisions. Dependable and flexible. Must be able to work under pressure. Must have good customer/human relation skills. Must have experience with electrical, plumbing and air conditioning systems. Must have experience with vehicle engine maintenance and repair. Must have good mathematical skills. ASE Certification, breaks, drive train and hydraulics. Must have strong leadership abilities so as to be proficient in enforcing company policies and procedures. |
