| Job Duties: | Evaluate and grade students' class work, performances, projects, assignments, and papers in lessons of piano. Explain and demonstrate artistic techniques. Prepare students for performances, exams, or assessments. Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics and techniques, fundamentals of music, and piano lessons. Organize performance groups, and direct their rehearsals. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences. Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records Other related duties as assigned. |
