| Job Duties: | Serves meals to customers in compliance with prescribed rules of etiquette for the dining. Prepares tables and side tables for meals. Set tables. Ensure cleanliness of linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes. Greets guests and seats them at tables. Presents menus to guests and suggests dinner courses and appropriate wines, and answer questions regarding food preparation. Write customers orders on checks or memorizes them. Relay customers orders to the kitchen. Serves bars. Garnishes and decorates dishes prior to serving them. Serves from chafing dish at table. Observe customers to respond to any additional requests and determine when customers have finished the meal. Clears tables of dishes, silverware and glassware when customer gave finished eating and drinking. Removes soiled linens and resets table after customer. Dusts ceiling and air ducts: wipes window panes, sills, tables, chairs, display other furniture; Cleans floor). Regular attendance is required for the position, and perform other related duties as assigned. |
