| Job Duties: | Investigates claims against insurance or other companies for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages and attempts to effect out-of-court settlement with claimant: Examines claim form and other records to determine insurance coverage. Interviews, telephones, or corresponds with claimant and witnesses; consults police and hospital records; and inspects property damage to determine extent of company's liability, varying method of investigation according to type of insurance. Prepares report of findings and negotiates settlement with claimant. Recommends litigation by legal department when settlement cannot be negotiated. May attend litigation hearings. should be able to evaluate, monitor and adjust claims in accordance with the Claims Processing and Settlement Procedures; attends directly to claimants and auto shops, and will work closely with agents on claims. Generates claims reports and statistics for reinsurance, inter-department and management info requirements |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must be a college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably with at least 1-4 years of work experience in a non-life insurance company particularly in claims. Must also have knowledge in automotive damage adjusting and/or estimation. Must be hard working, self-motivated team player with excellent communication and time management skills. Computer literate on Microsoft Office and Oracle based system program. |
