Job Duties: | Manages daily operations for the equipment procurements, inventory management and maintenance function. Tracks the records, licenses,inpsections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks equipment quality throughout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed. Responsibilities will include overseeing construction crews, ensuring that proper maintenance is performed on equipment and acts a communications liaison between the ground-level work of the company and the higher management executives. In addition, the equipment manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the operations of all equipment for effective maintenance and repair programs, equipment safety programs and equipment use on company job sites. |

Qualification Requirements: | Mechanical-knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Must have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of the people, data, property and institutions. Must know how to develop preventive maintenance programs in the areas of inspections, repair and maintenance of other related equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of equipment. Must be able to lead and direct the work of others. |
