Job Duties: | Reports directly to CEO or his designate. Manages and directs the company's day-to-day sales, marketing, and distribution operations. Assists corporate officers in planning, formulating, and implementing periodic modifications to the company’s sales goals, marketing strategies, merchandising policies, and operational procedures. Manages and directs the company's sales and marketing in conformity and consistent with the company’s sales policies and marketing strategies, monitors overall sales and marketing activities and manages contractual arrangements for import of merchandise, and manages inventory. Manages and monitors sales and marketing activities, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement, identify deficiencies, and implements corrective measures to ensure sales and profit targets are met while providing high-quality service to customers. Monitors compliance with company’s operational budget, overall profitability of the company, and oversees compliance with legal requirements for its operations. Manages the stock and inventory requirements based on sales orders, inventory, and projected volume of sales. Supervises the purchase and procurement of merchandise, including import requirements with freight companies and government agencies. Assists the corporate officers with directing the development of new business prospects for the company, including conducting and overseeing feasibility analyses and cost assessments for expansion into new product lines and market areas, and directing the expansion of the company into viable new market. Manages the stock and inventory requirements based on sales orders, inventory, and projected volume of sales. Supervises the purchase and procurement of merchandise, including import requirements with freight companies and government agencies. Manages assembly and storing of products by workers, filling of orders, and distribution to customers according to sales orders. Prepares sales related personnel’s work schedules, manages and directs their activities, provides staff training, and has authority to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and other personnel actions. Oversees various independent contractors and agents retained by the company to assist with its operations, such as shipping agents, transportation companies, and service contractors. Recommends overall sales and marketing plans for review and approval by CEO or his designee and implements/executes duly approved sales and marketing plans. Performs other managerial duties as may be assigned by CEO or his designee. |
