Job Title: Baker
Job Duties: Bake variety of bread products according to recipe, company standards and safe food handling practices. Check daily production schedules& product orders before starting production. Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met. Adapt the quantity of ingredients ratio to production level. Check machines & equipment to ensure that they are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations before, during, and after operation. Report any equipment malfunctions or fill in request for maintenance inspection due to abnormal operating capacity. Perform daily condition check and maintain equipment as necessary. Observe color of products being baked, and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, and conveyor speeds accordingly. Set oven temperatures and place items into hot ovens for baking. Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery. Measure and weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and icings, using scales and graduated containers. Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough to established standards. Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets, and bake in production ovens or on grills. Apply glazes, icings, or other toppings to baked goods, using spatulas or brushes. Knowledge on working with mass production ovens and monitoring products and determining oven temperature and baking time. Other assigned duties as needed
