Job Duties: | Responsible for marketing the company’s products and/or services via telephone with well-qualified prospects. Takes orders and answers questions typically generated by local and/or national advertising and prepares appropriate documentation. Generates prospective customers through cold calling and qualifies leads. Qualified leads are typically directed to field and/or inside sales team for close *Advocate to prospective customers on MRE behalf about the benefits of solar in order to book the follow up appointments *Engage in sales activities spending 78-80% of time networking in neighborhood *Knock on doors where MRE has performed an installment and target markets *Network to try to get lead and set appointments *Provide nightly reporting of leads/appointments and hours worked *Complete necessary paperwork and email correspondence promptly *Attend ongoing training to keep up with market expansion and job duties *Maintain constant communication with the canvassing manager. *Communicate and share best practices with management and team *Demonstrate behavior to properly represent MRE core values. Work with team to generate, respond to and follow up with prospective customers. Educate customers about the benefits of going green. Analyze and anticipate a prospective customer's solar knowledge and needs. Create and present various proposals to potential customers. |

Qualification Requirements: | *1+ years of experience with customer service and/or sales*Meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas *Working in an unsupervised environment *Ability to effectively utilize selling techniques *Uses judgment to determine most efficient order of activities to achieve established objectives and assigned deadlines. *Provides variety of project support assistance to team. *Demonstrates ability to utilize specialized and/ or more advanced software *Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. *Ensures information is not simply communicated but understood. *Able to effectively organize data and convert information and results into report and presentation formats. *Solves problems within project scope, and may identify better approaches, features and methods for completing work. *Builds productive internal and external working relationships.Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal communication and listening skills. Must demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers, clients and team members. Must have "track record" for success as demonstrated by previous work experience. Strong mathematical skills including critical thinking and problem solving. Leadership experience preferred (school, organizational, and sports leadership also accepted). Inside/Outside sales experience preferred. Solar industry experience, knowledge of solar products and financing preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint). Capable to work individually and in a team environment. |
