| Job Duties: | Provides parental care and childbirth assistance. Monitors material condition during labor by checking vital signs, monitoring uterine contractions, or performing physical examinations. Monitors fetal growth and well-being through heartbeat detection, body measurement and palpation. Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing midwifery care. Ensures all medical equipment is safe to use and properly maintained. Follows emergency or contingency plans for mothers and newborns. |
