| Job Duties: | Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment or the structure of an establishment in repair. duties may involve pipe fitting; insulating; welding; machining;carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing;aligning and balancing new equipment nad repairing buildings, floors or stairs. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using handtools amd power tools and reassembles equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the stablishment does not deteriorate. Inspects drives, motors and belts check flui levels, replaces filters and perform maintenence actions following checklist. use tools ranging from common ahnd & power tols such as hammers, hoist, saws, drills and wrenches to precision measuring instrument and electrical electronic testing devices. Assemble, install and or repair wiring, electrical and electonic components, pipe systems and plumbing, amchinery & equipment. Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work. clean and lubricate shats, bearings, gears and other parts of the machinery. Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, handtools & powe tools. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have knowledge on the following: mechanical of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. He must know the public safety and security-must have knowledge of relevant equipment policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective local state and national security operations for the protetion of the people, data, property and institutions. Must have skiils in equipment maintenance-perfroming routine maintenance on equipment and dtermining when and what kind of maintenance needed. Repairing-reparing machines or systems using needed tools. Troubleshooting- dtermines causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it,. Active listening-giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand and points being made, asking questions or appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate time. Critical thinking- using logic and reasoing to identify the strenth and weaknesse of alternative solutions, conclusions or appropriate approaches to problems. Reading comprehension- understadning written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Operation Monitoring- watching gauges, dials or other incicatros to make sure machines is working properly. coordination- adjusting actions in relation to others' action. Must have at least 2 years previous work related skill, knowledge or expericne is required. |
